We are a Chartered Practice Architect Practice based in Derby. We abide by the Codes of Professional Conduct set by both the Architects Registration Board (ARB) and the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA).
We have established relationships with other agencies, professionals and local authorities which we can draw upon, as required, to assist in the successful realisation of your project.
We offer the full package to make your concept a reality; not just the services of an architectural designer or technician (or ‘plan drawer’), as Architects we provide a professional, regulated design consultancy service. We work with our clients to take their projects to tender and adminster Building Contracts and work on-site managing payment and programmes.

THE BLAIR GRATTON ARCHITECTS TEAM:
Our Director Simon Gratton is a registered Architect with the ARB, a chartered Architect member of the RIBA and a Conservation Architect registered with the RIBA. Simon took over the day to day running of the practice from his father John and partner John Blair in 2000.
John Gratton is a registered Architect with the ARB and an Architect member of the RIBA. In December 2023, John had been a member of the Royal Institute for 50 years, a rare achievement and has a huge amount of experience working in the Profession.
Ray Harlow is our senior Technician, who has been with the practice since 1970. As our longest-running member of the team, Ray has garnered a wealth of experience in all sectors of technical design.
