ABOUT US & OUR HERITAGE AS ARCHITECTS IN DERBY AND DERBYSHIRE
We are an RIBA Chartered Architect Practice operating from the centre of Derby’s Cathedral Quarter, and our Director Simon Gratton is an RIBA Conservation accredited Architect.
We serve Derby city and its suburbs, together with the whole of Derbyshire. We extend into the surrounding counties of Nottinghamshire, Staffordshire and Leicestershire.
Through our 70 year lineage dating back to 1952 when the practice was established in Derby as William Blair & Partners, we have acquired a wide-ranging portfolio of project experience. From domestic and heritage, to ecclesiastical, education, commercial, healthcare and community architecture.
With an established team of experienced individuals, we are fully qualified to take you through all stages of your project. What makes us special? An RIBA qualified Architect is your point of call. From your free initial consultation at our offices on The Strand, to the fully-built completion of your project.
Whether it is a contemporary extension to your home, alterations to a community centre, adding essential space to a GP surgery or the repair and conservation of a listed building, we at Blair Gratton Architects have the skills and knowledge to meet your requirements and make your build a success.
